Linus G Larsson a k a Shaka Linus from Stockholm, Sweden gives Props to Sneaker Nation for being such a great website (thanx) and tells us to peep BOMBEN if you understand Swedish, an online music magazine in Sweden.

Your first sneakers?
I'm not really sure, but i guess it was some Puma running shoe or something like that.

Your top sneaker of all time?
Nike Cortez, because it's timeless in design, unbelievably comfy, and looks great. There is a Cortez for every occasion.

Where do you shop for sneakers?
Boutique Sportif, mostly. That's the best store for urban streetwear in Stockholm (where I live), and I know the guys who run it. They're great, not only when you wanna buy sneakers.
Otherwise, I buy sneakers when I'm abroad.

Linus' top sneaker -- Air Sunder Max

Why are sneakers important?
They are the best, most comfortable shoes. Sneakers go with everything - a pair of Air Force 1 on the basket court, a pair of New Balance when you chill or a pair of Cortez in brown suede when you want to look slick.

You best sneaker story?
Probably when a couple of my friends went to NY and I asked them to buy me a pair of Cortez. I told them they could choose model pretty much themselves. They came home with a pair of all white Cortez, with the swoosh consisting only of holes along the side, as if the swoosh itself had been torn off. With blue details.
The only pair I've seen that looks better is the all white Cortez white white details and raw rubber sole (you know, that yellowish half transparent rubber).

How many
8-10 pairs of sneakers!
Sneaker you have most been looking forward to?
My Air Sunder Max!! I had to put them away at Boutique Sportif, since I couldn't buy them 'til I got my paycheck. They look sooo great and are really comfy.

How do you clean your sneaks?
Depends om the sneaker. Mostly a toothbrush and/or a moist cloth.
